In addition to his extensive career as a soloist, Pearce has considerable orchestral experience as well. He was a member of the Dallas Opera Orchestra for nine years, and he was principle cellist for both the Las Colinas Symphony Orchestra and the Dallas Summer Musicals for five years. He has been composing since his teenage years, and has also studied as a classical vocalist. His musical pursuits are not limited to the classical arena, however, as he has also co-written and co-produced a Latin/Pop C.D., featuring Spanish vocalist Meritxell Galan. When not involved with music, Pearce enjoys mountain climbing, hiking with Wynne and their two dogs, gardening, and playing tennis.
